Standard driving lessons are for beginners starting from scratch - they focus on learning car control, road awareness, and preparing for the driving test.
Yes. You’ll need a valid UK provisional driving licence before starting lessons. If you don’t have one yet, UniD Wheels can help you apply for it as part of our Full Licence Pathway package.
All our partnered instructors are DVSA-approved and experienced in teaching international students. They understand the differences in driving styles and laws between countries and adapt lessons to suit your background and confidence.
If you prefer an instructor of a particular language, gender, or teaching style, we’ll help match you with one that fits your needs.
It depends on your experience. Most learners in the UK take 10–15 hours of instruction, but many international students need fewer. You can begin with a few lessons to get started, and you can always purchase more lessons if needing to.
