How Does It Work?

1

Booking and Confirmation

Once you’ve made your purchase, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to book your online consultation call with one of our team.

Schedule your consultation at a time that suits you.

2

Initial Consultation

Join a one-on-one online consultation with our team.

During the call, we will:

Review Your Licence Status
We’ll confirm if your current international licence is eligible for conversion to a UK driving licence and outline the required steps.

Understand Your Needs
We’ll discuss your driving experience, any specific preferences, and answer any questions you have about the conversion process.

Personalised Guidance
We’ll explain all necessary documentation, timelines, and costs, while providing tailored advice based on your unique situation.

3

Licence Application

Application Pack Preparation

We prepare your full DVLA application pack, including your pre-filled D1 form, certified translation (if required), payment cheque, checklist, and a pre-addressed DVLA envelope. This is posted to you via tracked delivery.

Your Submission

You add your signature, passport-style photo (if required), and original foreign licence to the pack, then post it to the DVLA using the provided pre-addressed envelope.

4

Licence Approval and Delivery

Approval Notification
The DVLA processes your application and posts your new UK photocard licence directly to your registered UK address. Processing typically takes around 3 weeks from when you post it, but it can take up to 6 weeks in some cases.

Licence Arrival Check
We’ll follow up with you 4 weeks after you’ve sent your application to confirm if it has arrived. If it hasn’t, we’ll check again after a further 2 weeks and advise on next steps if there are delays.

Post-Swap Assistance
We remain available for any follow-up support, whether it's understanding your new licence, exploring insurance options, or any driving-related questions you may have.
